Quality Policy
The fundamental purpose of the Quality Policy adopted by EAGLE LANGUAGE SERVICE is to ensure the provision of quality services to its clients that respond to current and mutually-agreed demands, providing real solutions to specific problems.
EAGLE LANGUAGE SERVICE is fully committed to quality and each member of the team is individually responsible for ensuring that this quality materialises through specific actions, creating an internal and external image of EAGLE LANGUAGE SERVICE that identifies the company with professionalism and quality of service.
In order to achieve theses objectives, the company has defined and implemented a Management System based on the UNE-EN ISO 9001:2000 "Quality Management Systems" and UNE-EN 15038:2006 "Translation Services: Service Provision Requirements" guidelines that enables it to guarantee the quality of its services through strict control of the processes and resources used.
Therefore, our action is focused on the following:

This Quality System Policy acts as a framework for the establishment of annual objectives and the regular review thereof to verify their degree of adaptation to the real working methodology of EAGLE LANGUAGE SERVICE.
Quality Manager
The Quality Manager for EAGLE LANGUAGE SERVICE is Isabel Verástegui, who has the corporate authority and responsibility of ensuring compliance with general guidelines and the corresponding actions defined in the Quality Management System.
Human Resource Management
EAGLE LANGUAGE SERVICE has defined a specific procedure for the management of its human resources, both internal and external, involved in the development of translation projects. The purpose of this procedure is for all the individuals who participate in a project to have the necessary skills and qualifications to perform the tasks assigned to them.
When carrying out a resource selection process, EAGLE LANGUAGE SERVICE requires that these individuals have the professional skills they need to provide translation services:
-Translation competence.
-Linguistic and literal competence.
-Documentary competence and the ability to acquire and process information.
-Cultural competence.
-Technological competence.
Therefore, in order to consider that a resource possesses the above-mentioned competences, they are asked to fulfil at least one of the following requirements:
-Further education qualification in translation.
-Equivalent qualification in another speciality with a minimum of two years´proven translation experience.
-At least five years´proven professional experience in translation.
These resources are also required to possess the necessary professional competency to act as revisers.
In order for a resource to be considered to possess professional competenc for the revision of a certain text, they are required to be specialists on the corresponding subject matter in the target language.
EAGLE LANGUAGE SERVICE has defined the terms and conditions for establishing the corresponding collaboration and confidentiality agreements with its collaborators.
Translation Project Management
Once a translation has been assigned according to the nature of the text and the requirements defined by the client, a permanent monitoring procedure begins regarding the progress status of the service. This process covers both the translation itself and the revision thereof. The purposes of this monitoring procedure is to ensure the level of quality of the service provided and the complete satisfaction of our clients.

Eagle receives award for best translated publication in 2010
On Thursday 30th September, on the occasion of the II Edition of the Translation and Interpretation award ceremony for the best translated publications in 2010, Eagle Language Service, S.L. was awarded the prize for the best publication of the year. This event was the concluding part of the celebrations for International Translation Day, which was held in the Club Financiero Genova in Madrid and was preceded by a series of presentations.
The award corresponded to the translation of the Annual Report of the Spanish Stock Market regulator (CNMV) from Spanish to English and was collected by Cristina López Menaza on behalf of the CNMV at a gala dinner. The project comprised the translation of 114,000 words and was awarded to Eagle Language Service, S.L. by way of public tender.
This annual event in Madrid was sponsored by FEGILT-CEOE, the Spanish Federation of Globalisation, Internationalisation, Localisation and Translation Companies.
The Ministry of the Presidency of the Government of Spain has awarded to Eagle Language Service, S.L. the open tender: Translation service for the web-site of La Moncloa (Centre of the Presidency of the Government of Spain) Period 2010-2011
Eagle was the official translation services provider during the merger process between Unión Fenosa and Gas Natural.
